Thomas stereo microscopes are for use in lower magnification educational, biological, inspection and life science applications. Standard 10x wide field eyepieces provide crisp, sharp three-dimensional images of the specimen. The greenough parallel optics system delivers crisp, flat images with brilliant contrast and exceptional depth of field. Comes with binocular or trinocular viewing head, each 360 rotatable, with single diopter adjustment rotates. Rack and pinion focusing provides fluid, precise focusing with tension control adjustment. The slip-clutch mechanism prevents gear damage. Illumination is provided by a dual light stand or upper halogen/lower fluorescent light combination stand. The frosted glass stage plate in the base provides evenly diffused illumination. All stereo microscopes come with paired 10x wide field eyepieces (f.n.20) with a working distance of ranging from 80 mm or greater. Dust cover, bulbs, and manual are also included. Also available with illuminated stands that provide either dual halogen or upper halogen/lower fluorescent light. The fluorescent transmitted light allows cool illumination for heat-sensitive samples. Both light sources have dimmers to allow variable intensity, providing optimum illumination for a variety of samples. Thomas microscopes feature a 5-year warranty on all parts, 1-year on electrical parts.
