Important steps before inserting the camera:
1.Before inserting the camera inside an underwater housing, make sure your camera is stock - No straps, no additional grips, no lens filter. 2.In the camera menu switch your viewfinder mode to LCD/MONITOR only, because you won't be able to use viewfinder underwater. 3.Turn your brightness higher to at least 80%, otherwise you won't be able to see whats on the monitor.

Steps to Testing:
1. Anoint the case with waterproof oil and stuff it with tissues; 2. Close the case and put it into water at least under 20m for 5 minutes above to make sure its waterproofness.
