This model features PL259(UHF Male) Socket TO SO239 Socket(UHF Female) for mounting through an enclosure wall or the arrestor can be used inline.
SO239 259 arrester will pass DC,so SO-239 surge protector is suitable for applications where DC is carried through the coax cable. Both UHF connector ports of this unit are equally protected -- it can be installed in either orientation.
A ground lug and terminal on the housing provide superior grounding.
